Saipem Contracting Nig Ltd is located in Port Harcourt, Nigeria and I was in charge of setting up the Quality department for the company quality director to take over. Turbine Electrical Generating Plant, new construction.


Feb. – 2017 to May - 2017 

QA/QC Representative for EnGlobe (Schofield, Wisconsin USA)

Representing EnGlobe at Merrill Iron and Steel for Fabrication of the Keeyask Generating Station Project for Manitoba Hydro.

 

Dec. – 2015 to Feb. - 2017

AMEC representation for the construction of the Mercedes Benz Stadium, New Brunswick, Alma, and ST. Gedeon, Quebec fab shops.


I had worked on the fabrication of this stadium as a representative for the owner on site.

My work included a review of drawings, NDT, Welding and code compliance. The completion of this project will be done by the end of February 2017.

Construction Quality Advisor for 347 km bi-pole 500KV DC lattice Steel Transmission line from a new 510S Sunnybrook converter station adjacent to the existing Genesee 330P substation (in the North) to a new 511S Crossings converter station adjacent to the existing 102S Landon substation (in the South. The line has been divided into eight primary segments for ease of planning.)

QA Turnover Engineer responsible for supervising contractors to ensure completion of construction turnover and mechanical completion for the Polyethylene, Polypropylene, and Process Hazard Unit (PHU) plants. As FE/FO Coordinator Welding Inspector was responsible for supervising the installation of flow orifices and flow elements in systems required for commissioning.Maintained parts and organized installation with the support staff of eight pipefitters and supervisors.


February 2007  

Qatargas – Qatargas Phase II Project, Ras Laffan, Qatar,

PMC QA/QC Area Supervisor responsible for nonconformance report (NCR) resolution, scheduling, and progress reporting. Served as Company Representative for off plot natural gas liquids (NGL) Nickel (Ni) tanks, jetty and dock construction, and fabrication of five liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks using automatic and manual welding procedures.


November 2006.   

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) – LNG Storage Tanks KOC Project, Kuwait,

PMC Senior Welding Inspector responsible for surveying welding and nondestructive testing (NDT) completed by contractor and subcontractors. Conducted qualification of welders and procedures for manual, semi-automatic, and automatic welding. Ensured QC over fabrication yard for storage tank fabrication using automatic welding.


August 2006.   

Pegasus International – Ca Mau Gas Pipeline Project, Ca Mau, Vietnam,

PMC QA/QC Welding Engineer and Inspector responsible for providing welding expertise and QA/QC. Reviewed 2020 RT pipe joints for a client located in Vietnam.


Canadian Natural Resources Limited – Canadian Natural Resources Limited’s Horizon Oil Sands Facility, Fort McKay, Alberta, Canada,

January 2006. As PMC QA Specialist, developed and implemented procedures for subcontractor companies and supporting site construction managers.


2005.  

Fluor Corporation – Shell Refinery Up-grader Project, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, 
Canada,

Provided PMC QA/QC support including providing surveillance inspection and providing the turnover package to the client. Traced pipelines to boiler construction per detailed drawings.


2004.   

Flint Energy Services – Suncor Desulphurization Project, Fort McMurray, Alberta,

Served as Acting PMC QA/QC Lead responsible for performing pipeline construction and maintenance inspections including welding, nondestructive examination (NDE), procedure qualification tests, welder tests, and weld inspection management and procedure conformance.
